Here at Amazon, we have a strong belief in serving the community and giving back to the people around us. We have a number of projects which we support financially and others which we are actively involved in by dedicating time and ideas. We take great pride in these projects and always enjoy lending a helping hand.
Some of our managers and employees dedicate direct time to work with their communities on simple tasks such as cleaning parks and neighborhoods, recycling, and taking care of the environment in general (especially the water conservation program).
Also Giorgio and Ramon are very active in a civic organization which helps promote the election of honest and professional city council members, the mayor, the governor and even the President.
We have our own foundation by the name of “Promover” (meaning “Promoting” in Spanish) that helps Colombians help themselves by aiding them in creating better living conditions. Some of the activities we are involved in are listed below:
