Spicy Honey Mustard Chicken Wings

Ingredients

12 whole chicken wings
¼ cup Amazon Buffalo Wing Sauce
2 tablespoons mustard
1 ½ tablespoons honey
1 tablespoon melted butter
1 teaspoon dry oregano
¼ cup cream cheese
¼ cup sour cream
2 ounces blue cheese
Celery stalks and carrot sticks to serve on the side

Making

Makes 4 Servings

Cut the chicken wings at the joint, separating the drums from the tips. In a bowl, mix Amazon Buffalo Wing Sauce, mustard, honey, and melted butter. Place the wings in the sauce and toss until all wings are coated with the sauce. Allow to marinate for at least half an hour. Preheat oven to 375° F. Remove wings from bowl (Note: do not throw away the sauce yet!) and spread out wings evenly in a Pyrex oven dish or on a rimmed baking sheet. Put in oven and bake for 15 minutes, then remove from oven and brush wings with the leftover sauce that was in the bowl. Turn wings over to allow both sides to brown, brush again with the leftover sauce, then return to oven and bake another 15 minutes. In a separate bowl, make a sauce by combining cream cheese, sour cream and crumbled blue cheese. Serve chicken wings along with bowl of cheese/sour cream sauce and celery and carrot sticks on the side.
